Linksys wireless router

    i juss got a wireless router and i set it up...but i skipped the part to put a password on it so that nobody else can gain wireless access to the internet through my router... can someone help me out and to put a password on the router?..... Thanks in advance

    open your browser and paste (http://192.168.2.1/) or (http://192.168.1.1/).
    leave user name field blank. the default password should be admin, so try "admin"'.
    now, click wireless > wireless security.
    most of these settings should already be set:

    wireless security: enable
    security mode: WEP
    default key: 1
    wireless encryption level: 64 bits 10 hex digits
    passphrase: (whatever you want your passphrase to be)
    click generate and copy WEP key 1 and save it somewhere where you can find it.
    click save settings and bang.
