when it was in the camera, the camera automatically formatted the memory card to work for the camera,so i suggest you put it in your computer and right click on the memory card and hit format, then try it in the phone,if not then read the book of your phone,it should tell you how to use the memry stick, mayb u had to create a folder or somthing

bro i had the same ****in problem last week! iiite just to make sure, are you using XP w/ a media card reader?

okay, the card needs to be formatted using the FAT32 file system to be compatible with most phones. once the card is inserted, right click it from my computer, click format, and set the type to FAT32. for some reason, when i tried doing this on XP (i tried on 3 sep. computers) it would only format using the FAT file type (as opposed to FAT32). i tried formatting it using one of my boys computers who has VISTA, and selecting FAT32, and it worked perfectly in the phone.

im assuming ur going to be using the memory card for music? if so, you can use the digital camera as sort of a gateway formatting. put the micro sd card in the sd adapter and put it in a digital camera. copy the files you want and paste it into the card loaction once the camera is connected to the computer via usb cable.

one of the two ways should work for you...let me kno

ur phone needs the the card formatted in a certain way. maybe ur phone has a format feature. should read the manual. much like how the psp needs it's folders to be in all CAPS and only recognizes MUSIC and PHOTO not SONGS or PICTURES. so refer to the manual, google, or call the company for assistance.

check and make sure the card is not "locked" to read only.

Try reformatting the card. If it still doesn't work, some old phones don't read anything higher than 2GB.
