Partitioning a Harddrive That is Already in Use

    iight i got a question. i need to partition my hard drive but i already got xp on it and my files and shit. its a 320gb HDD so i wanna put some towards windows 7 cuz xp is ugly. any programs? i tried one before but it kept on failing. if anyone has any ideas it wud be appreciated.

    note that i do not want to disturb my original (xp) partition. just add another partition cause when i format the hard drive when i got it, i just made one.

    when u were installin windows 7,u should have created a new partion in setup..

    u can try this

    bai consider using a virtual pc :banana:
    safest thing to do and it nah go interfere with yuh xp
    the virtual drive will act like a partition for the virtual pc
    u eh go even have tuh partition
    coz virtual drive is like a normal file

    PowerQuest PartitionMagic 8.0
    -download that program, you can use it to create a partition...resize do w/e the rass yuh want.

    just downloaded it. gonna test it out later as soon as i download the latest build of windows 7 from dave

    edit: ima cry if i download all this and then the partition program dont work. cuz i used one b4 and it kept failing
