i turned my psp on and its really messed up .
the d-pad wnt work like wen i turn it on it usually highlights on umd but then it just goes all the way to the right and if yu try to navigate somewhere else it continously forces you right
when i forcibly start a umd yu know how yu hit home left to quit a game well its wnt let yu go left at all
its not the analog its straight up the dpad. idk wtf ive nvr seen this happen before
if anyone can tell me how to fix it ill appreciate it
    thanks

well like i said, take it apart, and put it back together lol. take the dpad out, clean it gently if dusty and stuff, and fit it back in.

my friend had a similar issue take out the battery and try putting some pressurized air through it, you know the can air that you use to clean your keyboard. try that.

if it still has the problem, do what gtxquisit said..there's probably dust caught up in there.
