I have a question to all of the DJ's on here that use Serato. I have all of my music and Serato crates on an external hard drive. Yesterday, I backed up everything to another hard drive just in case this one crashes. My question is, when you are importing a new song into your crates, what is the best way to put the song in the same crate on both external hard drives?
Hi, not sure if you already found a solution but I do the same. Serato on an external drive and also a back up. Since the root files for serato are on the external on both of them I recipe the folders with the new songs and receipt the serato folders so all cues and loops get save to back drive as well. Hope that helps
