Speed up PC

    Here's a little string to speed up your PC tremendously.

    • Open Notepad
    • Paste mystring=(800)
    • Save x.vbe (x=your choice)
    • Now just double click and your ram speed is increased.

    TIP:
    Set it to auto run and direct it to start up.

    Otherwise, just double click every time you start up.

    Quick comment here as far as explanation. What this script attempts to do is to use a VB script to allocate a chunk of memory (blank) large enough to force un-used or idle pages out to your SWAP file.

    Accordingly the value in mystring needs to be sized according to the size of your memory. Certainly it will be much larger than 800 there possibly 80000000 as a starting point.

    I am not sure how much RAM is average since I live in a warped world of computing where 64GB of RAM is average on desktops and 32GB on notebooks is standard.

    So do a little digging to get the value that would make a difference for you.
