Xbox or PS3

Which one should I buy?

I built my own PC n i play games on it but I want something different.

 

Go With a Ps3 For Sure !
1. Better quality in games.
2. Free Interent,
3. BlueRay
4. Better Games
5. Cause Its cool.
But for real , Free Interent,BlueRay, And Quality looks better.
But its up to your choice

I agree with shatta i have all of the consoles and i gotta say if you looking for something between ps3 or xbox 360. go with the ps3 it will be more useful to you later on. I dont use either right now cuz i just finished my pc but i still use my ps3 for blu rays and such

 

Blu ray is overrated. One I don't even buy blu rays movies soo.... Anyhow blu-rays read at a slower speed, which is why it is required that you install almost every game on a ps3. As for free internet stated above, your still gonna be paying for the data you consume. As for games, it depends on your fan base. Anyhow in my opinion you get a more active community on xbox and we have better features on the dashboard, better looking interface, and you can talk to your friends at anytime, regardless to which game they are playing.

Some note worthy games:
Forza motorsport > GT5 (simply due to game play physics and realism of the in game tuning)
Gears of war series
Halo series
Left for dead

As for multi-platform games, most developers design the game to run on an xbox since it is easier to assign components of the GPU into shaders and anti-analsing (spelling). The result is games that look poor on the ps3.

Note that all a blu ray really is, is a disk with more memory. Its the gpu still doing the work. I forget which way it goes but one or the other as a better gpu, and the other better cpu.

And in my opinion xbox controllers are more ergonomically friendly to the thumbs.

I get that some ps3 exclusives are good, but the mostly seem like solo experiences. So i guess maybe xbox = community MP, and ps3 solo games (God of war).

 

PS3 all the way. you may not buy or watch blu-rays now, but eventually you'll get some use out of them and might as well have a ps3 for t hat instead of having a separate blu-ray player.
You dont have to pay to play on line like 360 and the price of xbox live is also going up.

Both have exclusive games, depends if this is a deal breaker for you. and the guy above, no way forza is better than gt5, but it all comes down to what you're looking for

 

Live has been the same price as always, and breaking it down its like 19 cent per day. However arguing that you dont play 24/7, its like a dollar tops for a couple of hours (arcade machine).

And yes forza has better gameplay than gt5. The cars in that game have too much static friction in which they keep banking corners at high speeds without any loss in static friction (oversteer and understeer). So what if you have 1000 cars, only a select view have full detailed interiors. All of forzas cars have interiors, a full vinyl workshop, a marketpalce to sell cars vinyls, and has community events. Not to mention way more aspects to adjust on the cars themselves.

XBox 360. Better graphics processor than PS3 and better games.

just get both man...great unique games for both anyway...why restrict yourself?

 

It all depends on your preference
i find that xbox is better if u want more of a challenge against ppl online

& for ps3
the blueray player

i Say The PS3 Dude, I Had A 360 & Yu Knoe What 50$ a yr. Jus For Internet Smh. & Plus The 360 Be Having Alot Of Issues With its harddrive, Then Yu Come Across The Red Ring And A Whole Bunch Of Shiet.

I Recently Got My Ps3 And I Can Sey Its Bin Alot Better.
The Internet Being Free Is My Fave. As For From What That Guy Sed Bout Paying For The data Yu Consume i Highly Doubt That Buh Then Again I know Nuthing Bout It. But I Havnt Paid Squat Yet lol

The quality is better, There are alot of more games coming out for the ps3 than the 360.
and also netflix loads alot faster on the ps3.

PS3!!! Blu ray is the new format, just like DVD was. Pretty soon DVD will be phased out.

 

ps3, reliably, xbox got too many problems.

It al depends on the kind of games you play. both have some great games
if your more a first person shooter player then go for the xbox else go for the ps3
I have both and i play PS3 more then xbox

 

Ps3. its more future proof. And more than likely a few years from now the question will be XBox 720 or 'PS3'. Xbox 360 has a better processor???? hmy: Oh in appearance, got ya

 

I choose Xbox, because I love Xbox Kinect.
