if you think mystyle is the cleanest cd you have peanut butter in your ears.
but then again there hasnt been any cd in terms of sound quality to really take a hit at mystyle.
    soon though.

i think cane cuttah shits all over mystyle.
    much more enjoyable cd.

lol i agree with you lamont, except for the no other cd have taken a hit at it. what about We Ting 1? that cd was CLEAN and well mastered. mystyle actually lived up to the name actually had it's own style which was an original style but as for the being the cleanest cd? helll no! i hear a lot of faults in that CD including drifts, timing & off-timing echoes.

i don't know why a lot of people like irresistable more than prescription, for some reason i loved off prescription.. maybe it was cause of track 8 (my all time favorite song) lol

its right in the pile of overcompressed music!!!:pirate_err:

seeing that most of the beats used on that cd are commercially produced its not really hard to get the original wav loops and come out with a decent master.

regardless its overcompressed and has a nice high frequency sizzle thats freaking annoying
but i do enjoy the cd.
gotta thank the distortion of the all mighty L3 :chickendance:

  13. i never heard that cd. is the mastering as bad as it was on addicted to extacy and peppa seed?

    to much limiting and squashing.
i think irresistible was eqed well but that limiter just took away the prize.

l1 l2 l3 aren't the ideal limiters for the type of music that djs remix.
actually those are some the worst limiters around.

allot of remix cds have good quality but dj's keep playing with limiter thresholds looking for the "HOTTEST" sound.

regardless people still control the volume knob and an overcompressed cd is very annoying to the ear , it easy to add allot of distortion to a cd when using a limiter, its better to have a cd that sounds good at loud and low volumes hense the volume knob.

at the end of the day the consumer probably doesnt care anyways.

    here something worth checking out.

I think the cd is 'return of the oldies' or something BCE was working on. There was a preview up on their site

    http://www.alloutprod.com/mixes/aop.html

scroll down a bit or just search 'return' and itll come up
