    DJ Darkside vs. DJ Ganja
DJ Darkside 6/10 - This was an alright mix. Definitely something I would probably do back in '04 lol. I'm glad you threw in Pop, House, Soca, Chutney in one but where is the Reggae? That's the main ingredient for a battle mix! The mix overall was put together pretty well.

DJ Ganja 4/10 - There is no clarity in this mix what so ever. This is the first time I've heard you mix reggae like this and the whole Hindi selection was off beat man. Is mixing like Trigga the only way to mix Dancehall music? There's got to be other concepts than this man. Study some Gambino, Selecta Renegade and Ecentrix Sounds. You will then realize that stuttering acapellas isn't everything!

    Reckless vs. Dozenshots
Reckless 5/10 - You did OK! I got bored of the beat pattern used most parts of this mix. Very random acapella's, although you had everything on beat, there isn't any message being delivered; I mean, isn't that the point of Acapella's in a battle mix? Especially of the Dancehall/Reggae genre?

Dozenshots 8.5/10 - Very clever once again. From beginning to end, this mix was anticipated. I couldn't wait to hear each concept that were bound to come in. I enjoyed Tick Tock on Calabria and Mr. Vegas on Tonight. The Vybz Kartel on Axel F just blew my mind! Mr. Saxobeat on those 'pella's were also insane! Old School, New School, Dancehall, House, Dance, Electro all in one. Who needs Hindi and Chutney for this mix? Not me, good job Dozen. P.S., work on your mastering, the whole mix was very flat. Some acapella's were overtaking some of the instrumentals.

    DJ Prodigy vs. Hurricane Swizz
DJ Prodigy 5.5/10 - I'm disappointed in you. You gave me a lot of hope after hearing your qualification mix. This mix on the other hand was extremely noisy. You had the right idea by fitting in all genre's but most of these transitions did not make sense and didn't even have the flow to back it up. You misused all the right tools! Your Hindi selection was barely clear. Believe it or not, the only part of this mix that got me bopping my head was the Roll Up The Tassa loop on Work by Masters At Work and I'm not even a Chutney type person lol.

Hurricane Swizz 7.5/10 - Good mix! I enjoyed the Dancehall/Reggae selection. Clean up those transitions! Some of them were too sudden. The best part of this mix was 1:25 hands down! That sh-t was awesome! The Hindi selection could have been cleaner but you gave me something nobody else did in this competition and that's wordplay and you get extra points for that. Good job!

    SP Neils vs. DJ JonOne
SP Neils 0/10 - Don't waste our times man! The point of submitting a qualification mix is to continue on in every round you make it to!

DJ JonOne 6.5/10 - You know what, I enjoyed this mix. Some concepts could have been put together better but I can tell you tried here. I loved the intro to your mix. You did alright. Try fitting in other genre's of music for the next round (depending on the rules of the next round). I enjoyed most of these remixes. I'm yet to find out if you did them yourself or if these mixes are prerecords. I should leave this mix unrated until then, you did win by default anyway lol.

Moving on to the next round...
    - DJ Darkside
    - Dozenshots
    - Hurricane Swizz
    - DJ JonOne

    I don't get it.

This is where I disagree with you Riaz and always will! When I hear battle mixes, I NEED to hear delivery. What the fu-k will Soca and Chutney deliver? Maybe if he added some Soca and Chutney to his war mix, he would have gotten a better rating that's for sure.
