Good choice on the parts bai.....i'm envying u for that i7 right now lol. You need to work on hiding or rerouting some of those cables as they're blocking up some MAJOR air flow which you'll definitely need with that setup. I'll post some pics of my setup as well, not to steel your thunder...your i7 pwns my shit. I upgraded my aging Antec SP-500w PSU last week to a new OCZ ModXStream-Pro 700w and added in a 9600GT for PhysX to accompany my 8800GT as well. These first set of pics I took on my cell phone the other day with the new parts in....so they're really shitty, ima upload some high quality stuff later once i borrow my roomate's 10MP camera :)

yeah drastic me hand built am skunt

yeah gtryan thank you also when you posted ur specs on the geekbench i was like damn i want a computer like that.

well my i7 is over kill right now anything witha 4500 or 4000 bench mark would be fine for me.

i know my cables are all ****ed idk how better to route them i routed what i can to the other side of the case through the holes.
but the rest cant fit so i just tied them up.
lucky enough the case keeps cool

gtryan you know of any program that displays cpu temp?

ur computer is clean looks wired up very nicely.

for displaying cpu temp or any other temps for that matter (gpu, harddrives, mobo), I highly recommend EVEREST Ultimate Edition which you can easily find on torrent sites.

I have an apartment in Tallahassee where I attend Florida State University, but my parent's house is in Plantation, I kno where North Lauderdale is lol

My overclocking is ROCK solid.....I'm running at 344x9 = 3100mhz right now so that i can make use of the intel speedstep n ting which only works on 9x multi. I used to run on at a 1:1 ratio with 8x400 = 3200mhz but then i couldnt make use of intel speedstep with the 8x multi. I ran an experiment last semester where i ran the computer outside in 34 degrees Fahrenheit weather lol and got my setup to clock up to 3500mhz all on air lmao. But inside the apartment i tend to keep it right where it's at bcuz clocking up requires way to much volts for 24/7 usage. I'm taking some pics with my roommate's camera right now so i'll post em 2nite.

Well, I basically "hid" the majority of the wires behind the other side of the computer opposite the window. I took off that panel and routed all the wiring behind (ill snap a picture of that as well).

well i did that i routed as much as i could but the damn thing cant hold any more wires though the holes.

or some the wires just cant reach all the way.
