Mac might be over priced but to those who are in the graphics industry the price is very little when it comes to the quality of your work. Mac will produce elegant, sleek and clean cut image. I've seen this over and over so its no wonder people choose mac for graphics. I'm not bashing windows either eh. Its really a user preference, I've been using Windows and Linux all my life. Started out learning with Macs though.

Mac can be dodgy at times but I find it better to create music with.

Macbook pro here.. i love it. barely use windows anymore. If you want software for your mac and you dont know what software does the job on a mac but do know for windows then go to alternativeto. great website!

A little more than 6 months ago i bought a Macbook Pro 13", and i dont regret it at all!

Everything is so smooth and simple - only problem is that my job has Windows computers, haha.

Well my opinion is that a MacBook Pro or Air is a very great laptop if you're looking for alot of multi-tasking, power, speed, memory and other stuff. Not to mention, you can run Windows XP or 7 WITHOUT VMware or other virtual machine products by using BootCamp that comes with the Mac. Just because Windows has been out there and so many people is using it, doesn't mean you should follow the crowd. Choose what's best for you and what's more easier to work with. Weigh the pros and cons and just go for it bro.

By the way, if you are using it for mainly media arts, go for a MacBook. Definitely worth it
